Igniting Adolscent Girls and Young Women’s Green Futures
FLCI is a youth-led ecofeminst organisation working at the intersection of climate and gender justice. We’re driven to create safe spaces for AGYW to learn about climate change and disaster preparedness. We build girls and young women’s climate literacy, leadership and confidence. Creating a platform to ampfliy their voices and agency in the face of climate change.

What We Do

We create safe spaces for girls and young women to enhance their knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities, which are needed to create a more just and sustainable future.

We build platforms for storytelling. By amplifying girls’ voices and experiences, FLCI fosters an understanding of the gendered dimensions of climate change.

We aim to influence climate and disaster management policies and decision-making processes to ensure they consider the needs and perspectives of girls and young women.
